I chose Monica because she had a great track record of selling houses, and also because Team Thapar offered full service… a "one stop shop", a team that could handle all of the aspects of house preparation for sale and moving. That included fixes inside and outside the house, tree trimming, window washing, house cleaning, packing, dumpsters for disposal, staging, and moving excess furniture and boxes into the garage. In my case, living in another city, I needed a one stop shop. The "one stop shop promise" almost seemed too good to be true, but I felt I could trust Monica. Everything I asked for, Monica willingly agreed to do. She encouraged me to write it down so we had a common record to refer to. And, Monica and her team delivered on everything. I could have spent many many months away from home and away from family doing all this myself (maybe), or accept Monica's service and get it all done, in days. I have had so-so experiences with other real estate agents in the past buying and selling properties and decided to take a chance and work with Monica and her team after seeing one of her flyers, instead of using the agent I hired when I bought my house years ago. Prior to engaging with Monica, I had multiple agents (including those who knocked on my door) provide me with a significantly undervalued estimate for what my home should sell at, based only on their limited knowledge of the area, and what other “disimilar” homes sold for in the past. From the first call I had with Monica, I totally realized she is different. She has real experience in selling homes in W09 and it showed. She was able to provide me with realistic expectations and a fair estimate for what my home should sell for which was more in line with what I had in mind. Her marketing and sales techniques are superb. She is easy to work with and her and Ricardo were our true partners throughout the sales process. We discussed what my expectations are at the start and within less than three weeks we sold at the price we wanted and with the long closing date we were aiming for. It really pays to have an agent who understands the true value of your property and not just one of those agents who look up what others on your street sold for in the past and then work to set your expectations accordingly! As if all houses on one street or area are the same! Monica and her team really compliment each other. Each member excel at what they do and they make a stressful process easy and painless. Mona is very organized and communicates steps and actions clearly. The ladies who handle scheduling appointments are very polite and accommodating, and Ricardo is simply great!
